Kara Jei Tokita

Principal & President

With 35+ years of Event Management and hospitality experience, Kara has a vast array of experiences and has managed almost every type of event imaginable.

Prior to starting TokitaBethune, she helped open up the Washington State Convention and Trade Center and spent 10+ years managing national trade shows, special events and conferences with up to 100,000 attendees.

Other notable accomplishments: a Venue Operations Manager for the '96 Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games; and Sr. Account Executive for PPI, overseeing 75+ trade shows per year for many divisions of Microsoft.

Always the consummate perfectionist, Kara enjoys traveling, cooking and battling her golf addiction in her spare time.

Brad Bethune

Principal & Vice President

Working in a variety of marketing roles before starting TokitaBethune, Brad has always been managing consumer, retail and promotional marketing events from a number of different angles.

He created and managed many successful campaigns and projects while at O'Brien Water Skis, Sierra On-Line, Pepsi-Cola, Philips Oral Health and Medtronic.

Working diligently to make the world a better place, Brad is a self-described sports fanatic, live-music lover and cookie connoisseur.
